I will be the first to admit that I am incredibly excited Spring is here. Because it is always a cold and gloomy time of the year, winter is not a season that I enjoy experiencing. Luckily, winter is officially over, so it is something that doesn’t have to cross my mind again for quite some time. To get both of our minds off of winter, I have a story to tell you about how Spring got started for me.
A couple of weeks ago, my Mom had sent me an email and asked if I wanted to go on a trip to France with her. Because the plans for the trip had already been made for the most part, my main responsibility was to accept the invitation. I couldn’t turn down such a great offer, so I said yes and started packing for my impromptu vacation. Traveling can be a real pain sometimes, but fortunately this experience didn’t present any problems.
Upon leaving the plane, the first thing we did was to get our France car rental. Since we had booked our France car rental ahead of time, getting it only took a few minutes. Once we picked that up, we got to officially kick off our trip. We packed so much into our five days in France, and I made so many memories that will be with me for a long time to come.
The trip was the perfect way to commemorate the start of Spring, and I know that the next five to six months are going to be a lot of fun.

If you are going to France during the next couple of months, I can already tell you that you are going to have an amazing time. The reason I know this is because even though I am not going to France this year, I went there with a very close friend of mine last year. We went to France for a total of ten days, and at the end of our trip, the only thing that either of us could think about was how much we wished we could stay for a longer period of time.
The reason that we wanted to have extra time in France is because there is truly so much to do there. You may think that I’m exaggerating when I say that ten days was not nearly enough time to fully experience France, but that is exactly how both of us felt. Even though we packed every day of our trip with as much as possible, that doesn’t change the fact that for every activity or experience we had, it seemed like there were at least a dozen others that we didn’t have time for.
I guess the point that I’m trying to make is that regardless of how long you stay in France, the one thing you will never have to worry about is getting bored!

I truly love my life. Even though the majority of the population is currently struggling with the troubled economy, I am fortunate enough to have a very stable job, and my income has not been significantly impacted by the events that have taken place over the course of the last year or so. Although my life is quite good, I never would have reached this position without my parents making all of the sacrifices that they did when I was younger. From the day I was born, they knew that they wanted to give me the best life possible, and that is exactly what they accomplished.
Since they did so much for me, I have been trying in recent years to do a lot for them. Although they always say I don’t owe them anything, I really enjoy doing things to thank them and treat them well. The most recent example of what I do for them was sending them on a ten day trip to France. My Mom had always dreamed of going to France, and although she didn’t know if it would ever happen, I felt so happy to make her dream come true.

When I started talking French my freshman year of high school, this idea of moving away to France and living there was nothing more than a faraway fantasy. However, now that I am just a few months away from graduating from college, that fantasy is becoming a prominent reality.
Because I will be graduating from college with a double major in finance and French (and I actually have quite a good GPA), I have been approached by several different companies in France who have offered me jobs. The salaries of these jobs have all been quite good, and there was one company in particular that I really liked. So, after multiple discussions with them, they have agreed to pay for my expenses for a three week long “trial work experience” in France.
Basically, after I graduate, they are going to fly me to France, put me in a short term apartment and give me a rental car. Then, for the next three weeks, I will begin doing exactly what I would do if I worked there. After the three weeks, I will return to the United States, and will then have a week to accept or decline the job.
I realize that this is an extremely unique opportunity, and I’m looking forward to making the most of it!

Summer is always a time of the year that I enjoy. Since I am still a college student, it is really nice to get a full three month break from school. I know that a lot of people take classes in the summer, but this is something that has never appealed to me. I’m on track to graduate on time (and I’m in no hurry to graduate early), so there’s really no reason for me to take classes during the summer.
Instead of worrying about classes, I usually find a job during the summer. In the past, I worked as a lifeguard during the summer (which was honestly the best job that anyone could ever have), but now that I’m getting older, I’m starting to get internships during the summer so that I have something to put on my resume.
In addition to having an internship, the reason that I’m really excited about this summer is because I will be going to France. I got a travel deal that included a flight, hotel and rental car, and I’m going to get a full week to explore everything that France has to offer.

Just about everyone has a place that they always talk about visiting, but for one reason or another, they never seem to get around to actually going there. Whether it’s school, work, family or just life in general, something keeps them from getting to go to the place that they are always thinking and talking about. In my case, this place was France. For quite some time, I had always talked about visiting France, but things never seemed to fall into place so that I could actually go to France. Fortunately, that all changed several months ago, and I was finally able to get to take my trip to France.
Even though I had spent a lot of time waiting to go to France, the nine days that I got to spend in France made all of the waiting that I had done well worth it. During those times when I was thinking about going to France, I had done a lot of reading about this country. Although my expectations were set quite high, the experience I had in France exceeded everything that I had hoped France would be like.

Like many other people, France is a place that I had wanted to visit for a long time. Although I didn’t know if I would ever actually get a chance to go there, I found out last week that I will be visiting France in less than three months! The reason that I am going to France in less than three months is because my fiance booked a trip for us both to go there together. And, the reason that I found out about it last week was because he gave it to me as a Christmas present.
Now, you’re probably wondering why I received my gift already even though Christmas hasn’t arrived yet. This may sound funny, but the reason I got it early is because my fiance was so excited about the trip that he decided he couldn’t keep it to himself any longer. He really wanted to be able to talk about the trip with me, so he decided that the best thing he could do would be to totally surprise me by giving me this amazing gift before Christmas even arrived!

Going to France is a really fun experience. It was about six and a half months ago when I took my first trip to France. I stayed in France for a total of eleven days, and I had a really fun time while I was there. It was hard to leave France after my trip, but I have a lot of great memories that I will always have. Additionally, I know that I will eventually be able to take another trip to France.
Because I did so much during my time in France, I was really happy that I had a rental car to use for transportation. If I wouldn’t have had a rental car to use to get around France, I don’t think that I could have done all the things that I did. Actually, I know that I wouldn’t have been able to do all the things that I did.
I guess what I’m trying to say is that if you are taking a trip to France, I really think that if you get a rental car for your trip, you will be really happy with your decision.

Before I start to tell you this story, let me just say that my husband is absolutely amazing. I know that a lot of women constantly complain about their husbands, but I for one never have anything bad to say to my friends about my husband. It’s not that I’m holding back; it’s just that I’m lucky enough to have a man who knows how to not only take care of me, but also how to spoil me.
A great example of my husband knowing how to spoil me was the surprise trip he recently took us on. About three and a half months ago, I received a bouquet of flowers with an envelope attached. The flowers came while my husband was at work, and the envelope contained an itinerary for a trip to France. Not only did my take care of all the trip arrangements, but he also got plans made for our kids so that the two of us could enjoy a romantic time together in France.
Our trip lasted for just over a week, and I have to say that France was everything I wanted it to be. It was nice getting to spend so much quality time with my husband, and I was literally so excited about the trip that I could not stop thanking him.

For the majority of my friends, Spring Break is all about going somewhere that has a beach and drinking as much alcohol as possible for an entire week. While I do like to have a good time, the stereotypical Spring Break experience is not something that appeals to me. I do like the beach and the ocean, but it’s not someplace that I want to spend an entire week, especially when it is filled with an endless amount of drunken frat boys.
Because of this, I am doing something a little different for Spring Break. Instead of drinking case after case of cheap beer on the beach, I will be enjoying a nice glass of wine from time to time in one of the countless cafes found in Paris! That’s right; my Spring Break week is going to be spent in France (and specifically the city of Paris). I have never been to Paris before, but I have seen and read enough about it to know that it is a city that I think I will be able to fall completely in love with in less than a week.
