I am so excited about 2009! Although there are several different reasons why I am excited about the next three hundred and sixty-five days, there is one reason that stands out above all of the rest.

The biggest reason that I am so excited for 2009 to get started is because of a trip that I am going to be taking about halfway through this year. Because this trip will be the first time that I have ever gotten the opportunity to travel outside of the United States, it is going to be a major period in my life.

The place that I’m going for my first international trip is France. Because this is a place with an extremely rich history, I think it is going to provide me with a traveling experience that I will never forget. Since I get to stay there for a total of eleven days, I feel like I am really going to have a good opportunity to soak up all of the culture that France has to offer. Even though my trip is almost half a year away, that’s not stopping my level of excitement from going through the roof!
